God, I've done tons of PAL encodes to 1 disc recently. Let's see what I can remember...

The Matrix Revisited
The Others
American Werewolf in London
The Time Machine (the original version)
Kiss Meets The Phantom of the Park
Planet of the Apes
Legally Blonde
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

...

No!
But at the very end of the movie it becomes bad (last 10 minutes).

I think it comes of my player do not like 99min cds?

How can i make the movie smaller?

I use

352*240
CQ 70
VBR 22 =848MB

Yes I see, I do not tweak the VBR , I have been demuxing the AVI, and applying the template, and so far I have reduce the sound problem to an
"acceptable" 1sec diff between the movie and sound, do not know what else to do..

It could be alos my CDR when it burns it, I have a Sony VAIO with a CRX140E , if you guys can recommend a good CDR I can check onto
getting myself one, the Video quality is great, these templates have saved me tons of tweking and testing..

Showtime DVL DivX Encoded using KVCD CQ 352x240 NTSCFilm PLUS.mcf

Modified CQ to 50 and max bitrate to 2300

Encoded audio as 128kbit dual channel

final output size: 752,658KB

Theres more room for a higher CQ there but as I burn my creations to 650meg cdrw (I dont keep them. i watch and then erase) It fits snug.

Well,

today I did Matrix (PAL 25fps, 131min) with KVCD CQ 70 352x576, and it fits perfectly onto 1 CD... Audio is 192Kbit Joint Stereo....

Size: 801,36MB.... Great!!!
